- [The Flower Show 2023](https://villageshow.wellow.org/the-flower-show-2023/): 2023 The Marquee is where you will find the exhibitions of flowers, fruit, vegetables, floral art, cooking, drink, eggs, art, photography and children’s competitions.  All those things are there to view because villagers enter them (it’s free). You don’t have to be a Chelsea standard gardener or Bake-Off level cook. Joining in is what matters, whether it is two classes or twenty, rather than winning the competition. For anyone who has moved into the Parish in the last two years, there is a special award for the person who wins the most points across all classes, and there is a […]

Entry is £5, £3 for Wellow Hort Soc members, but free for 16 year olds and under. - [Flower Show Prizes](https://villageshow.wellow.org/flower-show-prizes/): PRIZES & AWARDS Newcomers Prize Certificate for the most points across all sections, by a newcomer to the parish of Wellow. The exhibitor must have moved in after 2nd September 2021. Junior Prize A certificate and £10 will be awarded to the entrant aged under 17 with the most points across Vegetables, Fruits, Novelty Garden and Flowers Sections. The RHS Banksian Medal Awarded for the most points in the horticultural classes – Vegetables, Fruits and Flowers Sections. (Competitors who have won The Banksian Medal in the last two years are not eligible to win. Previous winners are Alex Martin in 2022 and Rob Greig in 2021). The Farmer’s Cup for Best entry in class 1 – Collection of 5 varieties of vegetables. The Patrick Hartley Memorial Salver for Best entry in class 10 – Collection of 5 salad vegetables The Wellow & District Challenge Cup for most points in Section A (Wellow Hort Soc Members only).
